Milky Way - An Evening of Whisky

Together we launch Milky Way, the latest in The Whiskymaker's Editions collection. This release is only available through this series of exclusive events over the coming weeks at The Lakes Distillery. Extremely limited tickets are available per evening, on a first-come, first-serve basis.  

ABOUT Milky Way

Milky Way is both a departure and a return – a Lake District round trip taking us light years from the Lakes sherry house style. Its whimsical, light-hearted nature rings true with its origins as an experiment inspired by the characteristics of vanilla oatmeal stout. 

Exploring symbiotic opportunities on this joint mission with Lakeland neighbour Cumbrian Ales, we first seasoned our ex-Bourbon barrel with locally brewed stout, then finished our single malt to add a fine layer of cask-derived flavours to our whisky. 

Milky Way - AN EVENING OF WHISKY

Join us at 7pm on one of the following dates for a very special evening of whisky. Included in your ticket is a bottle of The Whiskymaker's Editions Milky Way to enjoy at home, but you will also sample of this limited edition single malt at the event itself. Alongside a special  tasting menu, your host will guide you through a matching drinks flight with each course.

PLEASE NOTE

Please take note of the following essential information before booking. Full FAQs are available here.

• x1 limited edition 70cl bottle of Milky Way is included per ticket purchase. Tickets for the event without bottle allocation are not available. Milky Way cannot be purchased independently of the event.
• Max. 6 tickets per booking.
• We will do our best to sit booked tickets together privately, but due to space considerations, there is a chance you will be asked to share tables with other parties. (This will be communicated to you in advance of the date). 
• Do let us know of any special requests or dietary requirements at events@lakesdistillery.com
• Due to the nature of the event, a designated driver or pre-booked onward travel should be arranged. We recommend pre-booking a taxi and accommodation due to the remote location of the distillery.
• Bring a copy of your booking confirmation for this event (paper copy or show on your phone). 
• Arrival 7pm arrival reception, anticipated finish approx 10.30pm
