The Lakes Distillery provides a unique backdrop to host your private function, group gathering, wedding or bespoke tasting. We can also organise evening or out-of-hours private tours on request.
The Boardroom
Private events in stunning surroundings
Our private dining space provides an elegant environment for which to hold special occasions - social or corporate. The space comfortably seats up to 30 people. There is a dedicated kitchen for bespoke catering and toilets for exclusive use of your guests.

Lead by our talented Head Chef Jack Balchin, our event menus are locally sourced, exquisitely prepared, robustly flavoursome and can be tailored to any event. We are a Cumbrian icon for fine, yet informal, dining in a relaxed ambience infusing innovative concepts with local tradition.
Group bookings are available within the Bistro or private space in the Boardroom, depending on minimum numbers.
Private tours
Bespoke tours & tastings
Bespoke functions can be arranged on request, perhaps featuring a personalised tutored whisky or gin tasting. For a memorable event with your family and friends or a corporate meeting with a twist, we can cater for your requirements. We could even introduce you to the Alpacaly Ever After Herd next door.
We recommend one of our twilight tours at 5pm or 6pm followed by supper in the Bistro. Out-of-hours tours, evening or private tours can all be arranged on request. Call or email to discuss your requirements.
