Celebrate the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend with family and friends with our favourite Spring Serves.

Simply beautiful and packed with flavour, each one of these refreshing cocktails are tailor-made for the warm weather. And with only a handful of ingredients required for each recipe, they are delightfully easy to prepare at home.

The Bramble


  • 40ml The Lakes Gin
  • 25ml Lemon Juice
  • 12.5g Sugar Syrup
  • 10ml Crème de Mure
  • Lemon slice and one blackberry, to garnish

Easter is the best time to enjoy this English classic.

Created by mixology pioneer Dick Bradsell in London in the 1980’s, this cocktail combines a citrusy lemon flavour with the sweetness of sugar for a delectable sweet and sour taste.

Shake the first three ingredients until completely combined and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Drizzle with a measure of Crème de Mure and garnish with a slice of lemon and a blackberry.

The Spring Punch


  • 40ml The Lakes Rhubarb & Rosehip Gin Liqueur 
  • 20ml Crème de Cassis
  • 20ml Lemon juice
  • 1 Dash sugar syrup
  • Fever-Tree Soda Water
  • Mint sprig and lemon twist, to garnish
Refreshingly fruity, the Spring Punch is a sweet cocktail befitting of the occasion.
Designed to enjoy during the warmer months, this flavourful concoction is delightfully invigorating.
Simply fill a tall glass with ice and add all the ingredients. Stir well, and then top with Fever-Tree Soda Water and garnish with a mint sprig and lemon twist.

The Lakes Vodka & Soda


When it comes to choosing a cocktail, sometimes less is more. If you’re looking  for a simple, refreshing serve then look no further.

Using sparkling water to elevate the distinctive flavours of our ultra-smooth English vodka, this candidly uncomplicated drink will have no trouble quenching your thirst.

Fill a highball glass with ice and pour over a 50ml measure of The Lakes Vodka. Top with a premium soda water and garnish with a lime wheel.

The Oporto Highball


Finished in first-fill Tawny Port hogsheads from Portugal and Ruby Port casks, the lingering stone fruit flavours of this fine blended whisky are elevated by the soda ball.

And with the addition of apple juice, the traditional high ball is given a fruity twist – perfect for those warm days in the garden.

Fill a tall glass with ice and add The One Port Cask Finished and apple juice. Stir well and top with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale for a wonderfully refreshing highball.
