On National Cocktail Day, we’ve curated a collection of sublime cocktails to enjoy as part of your celebrations. Simply beautiful and packed with flavour, these six Lakes’ inspired serves are the perfect showpiece for any toast.
The Pink Highball
- 40ml The Lakes Pink Grapefruit Gin
- 50ml fresh pink grapefruit juice
- 20ml lime juice
- 10ml sugar syrup
- Fever-Tree Soda Water
- Lime Wedge, to garnish
An iconic cocktail with a zesty twist, the Pink Highball is deliciously refreshing.
Taking inspiration from the whisky highball
, this long gin drink is served in a tall glass with all the ingredients combining to elevate the distinctive grapefruit flavour of the gin.
Fill a highball with ice and all the ingredients. Stir well and top with Fever-Tree Soda Water and garnish with a lime wedge.

Elegant and refined, the Negroni cocktail is a fitting choice.
Providing an eclectic flavour profile of bitter, sweet, fruity, and herbal, this classic serve is designed to be sipped and savoured.
Simply fill a tumbler with cubed ice, add all the ingredients, stir and garnish with an orange twist.
A classic whisky cocktail that has stood the test of time, The Manhattan is an icon.
Combining the richness of whisky, the sweetness of vermouth, and bitters to balance it all out, this delightful drink amplifies the complex flavour of whisky.
Fill a mixing glass with ice and add add all the ingredients. Stir until chilled and strain into a pre-chilled Coupette glass. Garnish with a cherry and a slice of lemon.
The Elderflower Fizz
Add a sparkling touch to your toast with The Elderflower Fizz.
Equally elegant in both taste and appearance, the fragrant floral notes of the liqueur are elevated by the fizz of the wine.
Shake the first three ingredients over ice and fine strain into a champagne flute. Top with the sparkling wine and garnish with a mint leaf.
