As we prepare for a long bank holiday indoors, we have curated a list of four of our favourite cocktails that are as easy to make at home as they are to enjoy.
The Bramble
The perfect cocktail to make this Easter, shake The Lakes Gin, lemon juice and syrup until completely combined and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Drizzle The Lakes Sloe Gin Liqueur (or Crème de Mure) over, and garnish with a slice of lemon and a blackberry.
Ingredients:
- 50ml The Lakes Gin
- 25ml lemon juice
- 12.5ml sugar syrup
- 10ml The Lakes Sloe Gin Liqueur/Crème de Mure / Blackberry liqueur
- Lemon slice
- 1 blackberry
The Bloody Mary

Perfect for brunch, simply fill a cocktail shaker with ice, adding each of the ingredients and stirring until chilled.
Strain into an ice-filled tall glass and garnish with a celery stick and a cherry tomato.
Ingredients:
- 50ml The Lakes Vodka
- 100ml tomato juice
- 10ml lemon juice
- 1 pinch of celery salt
- 2 grinds of salt
- 2 grinds of cracked black pepper
- 3 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
- Tabasco / Hot sauce to taste
- 1 celery stick
- 1 cherry tomato
The District Mule
Fill a tall glass with ice, add The Lakes Vodka and lime juice and top with a premium ginger beer.
Dash Angostura bitters on top and garnish with a slice of lime
Ingredients:
- 50ml The Lakes Vodka
- 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 20ml fresh lime juice
- Ginger beer
- Lime slice
The Affogato
Take a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a shot of espresso, and drizzle a shot of The Lakes Salted Caramel Vodka Liqueur for an indulgent dessert.
Ingredients:
- 50ml The Lakes Salted Caramel Vodka Liqueur
- A shot of espresso
- A scoop of quality vanilla ice cream
