An update from our CEO | The Lakes Distillery An update from our CEO – The Lakes Distillery

We wanted to share with you the heart-breaking decision we have made to temporarily close The Lakes Distillery to visitors.

It has become increasingly clear that to reduce the spread of coronavirus, we must all come together. People’s health and wellbeing is no longer our number one priority, it is our responsibility. That is why we have chosen to suspend tours and temporarily close the doors to our Bistro and shop. However, our online LakesDistillery.com doors will continue to remain open,  and we’d be very grateful for your support.

As a business and employer, we are preparing to face our biggest challenge, but the good news is that the indomitable spirit of the drinks industry is already there for all to see.

Bar and restaurants are discovering innovative ways to support people through the crisis, unveiling brand new ways of working, with home delivery and takeaway initiatives being established daily. Communities are uniting to offer help to the most vulnerable, and people are doing some of the most wonderful things for one another.

As difficult as it may seem, we will return to the normal status quo but, in the meantime, if you have a distillery experience or restaurant booking arranged in the coming weeks, we will be in touch very soon to discuss rescheduling. Please bear with us.

Please also feel free to contact us on info@lakesdistillery.com if you would like to speak to one of our team.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Nigel Mills,
CEO & Co-founder
of The Lakes Distillery.
